Doctor Camp

March 1, 2010

Dear Friends,

I’ve been shipped off to the AMA conference. I’ll be here until Wednesday. They are  teaching me to be a lady… err… physician. What I’m trying to say is, I’m learning how to make eye contact and wear a suit. The other kids are nice so far.

Will write more soon.

love, roz

p.s. can someone explain difference between hanging out and networking?

p.p.s.  D.C. is like if Philadelphia and LA were to have a love child. Am I alone on this one?

Hanging out is just…hanging out. No ulterior motives.

Networking always has an undercurrent of “what’s in this for me?” about it.

“Networking is about being interested, not interesting”
